Black PPF (Gloss Black / Satin Black TPU)

What Is Black PPF?

Black Paint Protection Film is a fully pigmented thermoplastic polyurethane film applied to exterior panels to change colour while adding physical protection. Unlike vinyl, which is mainly cosmetic, Black PPF uses the same construction as clear PPF to help reduce stone chips, surface marks, and UV-related wear.

Because the film sits over factory paint, it can be removed later if the surface was in good condition before installation. It’s often chosen by owners who want a black finish while keeping the protective benefits of traditional PPF.

Black PPF is available in two major finishes:

Gloss Black Finish

A reflective black surface with a smooth, paint-like appearance across all panels.

Satin Black Finish

A low-sheen black surface that reduces reflections and gives the vehicle a muted finish.
